Yes! While general B.E./B.Tech courses have no upper age limit, B.E. Marine Engineering is governed by the Directorate General of Shipping. You must have a strict maximum age of 25 years. Academically, you need a minimum average of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% in English (10th or 12th). Furthermore, you must qualify the IMU CET entrance exam and pass strict physical fitness standards (Min Height 157cm, Min Weight 48kg, and normal color vision).
