The Document Upload Guide
Every year, thousands of UP Police Recruitment (UPPRPB) applications are rejected due to incorrect photograph and signature formats. Follow this strict guide to ensure your registration is accepted.
1 Register on the Official Portal
All UP Police applications start on the official recruitment portal. Ensure you are on the correct, government-operated website.
Visit uppbpb.gov.in NEVER share your login credentials, OTP, or payment details with third parties. UP Police will never call you asking for these.
2 Upload Photograph
Strict Photo Rules for UP Police
- File size: 20KB – 50KB
- Background: white
- Recent color passport size photograph (not older than 6 months).
- Shoulders should be visible. Face must cover 70% of the image area.
- Must be taken against a plain white or light grey background.
3 Upload Signature
Strict Signature Rules for UP Police
- File size: 5KB – 20KB
- Ink color: black
- Sign in running handwriting on white paper using ONLY black ink.
- Signature file size must be strictly between 5 KB and 20 KB.
4 Review & Submit Application
- Double-check every field — name spelling, DOB, category, photo, and signature.
- Take a screenshot / printout of the confirmation page with your registration ID.
- Save the payment receipt PDF. Most boards send confirmation via email / SMS.
