1 Register on the Official Portal
All TNPSC applications start on the official recruitment portal. Ensure you are on the correct, government-operated website.
Visit www.tnpsc.gov.in NEVER share your login credentials, OTP, or payment details with third parties. TNPSC will never call you asking for these.
2 Upload Photograph
Strict Photo Rules for TNPSC
- File size: 20KB – 50KB
- Dimensions: 130 × 170 px
- Background: white
- • MANDATORY: Candidate's Name and Date of Photography must be printed at the bottom (1.5 cm / 55 pixels). Candidate image occupies 3.0 cm (115 pixels) above.
- • Must be a recent colour passport-size photo taken in a photo studio with white background.
- • Resolution: 200 DPI. Save as 'Photograph.jpg'.
- • Selfies, phone photos, family-function photos, and photos with nature/building backdrops are NOT allowed.
3 Upload Signature
Strict Signature Rules for TNPSC
- File size: 10KB – 20KB
- Dimensions: 230 × 75 px
- Ink color: blue or or or black
- • Draw a box of 6.0 × 2.0 cm (230 × 75 pixels) on white paper and sign within the box using a blue or black ink pen.
- • Resolution: 200 DPI. Save as 'Signature.jpg'.
4 Review & Submit Application
- Double-check name spelling exactly as it appears on your 10th Marks card.
- Ensure category selection (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS) is correct as it cannot be changed later.
- Save the final Application Form PDF and Payment Receipt PDF immediately after submission.
