How this tool works
This tool scales your signature to its own width, up to 500 pixels and saves a JPG between 10 KB and 20 KB for SSC Stenographer (Grade C 18-30 Yrs). It keeps quality as high as the 20 KB limit allows and pads a file that comes out under 10 KB without changing the image. It does not change ink colour, so sign in blue or black ink on plain white paper.

Common SSC Stenographer (Grade C 18-30 Yrs) Signature Upload Errors
"File size exceeds 20KB"
The SSC portal blocks uploads above 20KB. Our compressor automatically reduces to 10–20KB.
"Signature not in blue or black ink"
Many applicants sign in blue or pencil. SSC explicitly requires blue or black ink on plain white paper.
"Signature scanned on lined/ruled paper"
Use blank white paper. Notebook lines in the scan are a common rejection reason across government exam portals.
