1 Register on the Official Portal
All SSB applications start on the official recruitment portal. Ensure you are on the correct, government-operated website.
Visit recruitment.ssb.gov.in NEVER share your login credentials, OTP, or payment details with third parties. SSB will never call you asking for these.
2 Upload Photograph
Strict Photo Rules for SSB
- File size: 4KB – 12KB
- Dimensions: 100 × 120 px
- Background: white
- • CRITICAL: File size must be strictly between 4 KB to 12 KB in JPG format.
- • CRITICAL: Resolution must be exactly 100 pixels width by 120 pixels height.
- • White background consisting 75% face of candidate.
- • If uploading a photo with a beard, candidate must appear with a beard for the recruitment process.
3 Upload Signature
Strict Signature Rules for SSB
- File size: 4KB – 12KB
- Dimensions: 140 × 60 px
- Ink color: blue or or or black
- • CRITICAL: File size must be strictly between 4 KB to 12 KB in JPG format.
- • CRITICAL: Resolution must be exactly 140 pixels width by 60 pixels height.
4 Review & Submit Application
- Double-check name spelling exactly as it appears on your 10th Marks card.
- Ensure category selection (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS) is correct as it cannot be changed later.
- Save the final Application Form PDF and Payment Receipt PDF immediately after submission.
