1 Register on the Official Portal
All RRB applications start on the official recruitment portal. Ensure you are on the correct, government-operated website.
Visit www.rrbapply.gov.in NEVER share your login credentials, OTP, or payment details with third parties. RRB will never call you asking for these.
2 Upload Photograph
Strict Photo Rules for RRB
- File size: 30KB – 70KB
- Dimensions: 320 × 413 px
- Background: white
- • Photo must be recent (not older than 6 months).
- • Must be a standard passport size (35mm x 45mm) on a plain white background.
- • Face should occupy at least 50% of the photograph area.
- • Selfies, caps, and dark glasses are strictly prohibited.
3 Upload Signature
Strict Signature Rules for RRB
- File size: 30KB – 70KB
- Dimensions: 590 × 236 px
- Ink color: blue or or or black
- • Must be in running handwriting, not block/capital letters.
- • Scanned signature must strictly fit within a 50mm x 20mm physical box.
- • Sign on plain white paper with black or blue ink.
4 Review & Submit Application
- Double-check name spelling exactly as it appears on your 10th Marks card.
- Ensure category selection (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS) is correct as it cannot be changed later.
- Save the final Application Form PDF and Payment Receipt PDF immediately after submission.
