1 Register on the Official Portal
All NICL applications start on the official recruitment portal. Ensure you are on the correct, government-operated website.
Visit nationalinsurance.nic.co.in NEVER share your login credentials, OTP, or payment details with third parties. NICL will never call you asking for these.
2 Upload Photograph
Strict Photo Rules for NICL
- File size: 20KB – 50KB
- Dimensions: 200 × 230 px
- Background: white or or or light
- • Recent passport-style colour photo against a light-coloured, preferably white background[cite: 150].
- • In addition to uploading the scanned photograph, candidates must capture a live photo via webcam or mobile QR code[cite: 151].
- • Caps, hats, and dark sunglasses are not allowed. Religious headwear must not cover the face[cite: 150].
3 Upload Signature
Strict Signature Rules for NICL
- File size: 10KB – 20KB
- Dimensions: 140 × 60 px
- Ink color: black
- • Sign on plain white paper using a Black Ink pen only[cite: 149, 151].
- • Signatures written in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS will be summarily rejected[cite: 149, 151].

Scan your thumb impression on plain white paper. Must be between 20KB and 50KB.
