Why Photos Get Rejected on the LIC HFL Portal
Photo exceeds 50KB
Camera phones produce 2–5MB images. The LIC HFL portal caps uploads at 50KB — only about 2% of a typical 3MB phone photo.
Wrong pixel dimensions
Photos must be exactly 200×230px. Most phone cameras shoot much larger images that need precise cropping.
Incorrect background color
LIC HFL requires a white or light-coloured background. Indoor photos, selfies, and studio photos with coloured backdrops are commonly rejected.
