How this tool works
This tool scales your signature to its own width, up to 500 pixels and saves a JPG between 4 KB and 30 KB for JEE Main (B.E. / B.Tech / B.Arch). It keeps quality as high as the 30 KB limit allows and pads a file that comes out under 4 KB without changing the image. It does not change ink colour, so sign in blue or black ink on plain white paper.

No. FreeApplyTools is an independent utility. The engine follows official JEE notification rules for 2026.
Why is my signature being rejected?
Signatures are often rejected if in wrong ink color (e.g., blue when black is required), on lined paper, or over 30KB. Our tool fixes the file size.

"File size exceeds 30KB"
The JEE portal blocks uploads above 30KB. Our compressor automatically reduces to 4–30KB.
"Signature not in blue or black ink"
Many applicants sign in blue or pencil. JEE explicitly requires blue or black ink on plain white paper.
"Signature scanned on lined/ruled paper"
Use blank white paper. Notebook lines in the scan are a common rejection reason across government exam portals.
