Why Photos Get Rejected on the CTET Portal
Photo exceeds 100KB
Camera phones produce 2–5MB images. The CTET portal caps uploads at 100KB — only about 3% of a typical 3MB phone photo.
Wrong pixel dimensions
Photos must be exactly 350×450px. Most phone cameras shoot much larger images that need precise cropping.
Incorrect background color
CTET requires a light-coloured background. Indoor photos, selfies, and studio photos with coloured backdrops are commonly rejected.
