1 Register on the Official Portal
All CRPF applications start on the official recruitment portal. Ensure you are on the correct, government-operated website.

2 Upload Photograph
Strict Photo Rules for CRPF
- File size: 50KB – 100KB
- Background: white or or or light
- • CRITICAL: The date on which the photograph was taken MUST be clearly printed on the photo. Applications without the printed date will be rejected[cite: 1075, 1076].
- • Photograph must not be more than three months old[cite: 1075].
- • The face should cover 70-80% of the photo. No caps or spectacles allowed[cite: 1134].
- • Size must be strictly between 50 KB to 100 KB in JPG/JPEG format[cite: 1075, 1134].
3 Upload Signature
Strict Signature Rules for CRPF
- File size: 50KB – 100KB
- Ink color: black
- • Applicant must sign on white paper with a Black ink pen only[cite: 1134].
- • Signature must be exactly between 50 KB and 100 KB in JPG/JPEG format[cite: 1134].
4 Review & Submit Application
- Double-check name spelling exactly as it appears on your 10th Marks card.
- Ensure category selection (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS) is correct as it cannot be changed later.
- Save the final Application Form PDF and Payment Receipt PDF immediately after submission.
