1 Register on the Official Portal
All BMC applications start on the official recruitment portal. Ensure you are on the correct, government-operated website.
Visit portal.mcgm.gov.in NEVER share your login credentials, OTP, or payment details with third parties. BMC will never call you asking for these.
2 Upload Photograph
Strict Photo Rules for BMC
- File size: 20KB – 50KB
- Dimensions: 200 × 230 px
- Background: white or or or light
- • Face must occupy exactly 80% of the photograph.
- • Red-eye effect must be removed.
- • No dark glasses permitted.
3 Upload Signature
Strict Signature Rules for BMC
- File size: 10KB – 20KB
- Dimensions: 140 × 60 px
- Ink color: black
- • MANDATORY: NO CAPITAL LETTERS.
- • Sign on white paper with Black Ink pen only.
Left Thumb Impression (LTI)
Scan your thumb impression on plain white paper. Must be between 20KB and 50KB.

Write the required text in English on unruled white paper. Do NOT use capital letters. Must be 50KB to 100KB.

- Double-check name spelling exactly as it appears on your 10th Marks card.
- Ensure category selection (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS) is correct as it cannot be changed later.
- Save the final Application Form PDF and Payment Receipt PDF immediately after submission.
